Including the new piFLOW®p SMART

All piab vacuum conveying devices are ATEX-certified for dust, and certain products have been certified for gas as well. Each unit is available with a pump, either a mechanical one or an ejector-driven vacuum one.

There are four basic kinds of piab vacuum conveyors. The Premium, or piFLOW®p, is recommended for food processing, pharmaceuticals, and any other industry that requires premium technology – and for applications demanding high throughput performance with a small footprint. piFLOW®p processes a large range, from a two-litre batch volume to 56 litres. Last year, piab introduced the piFLOW®p SMART, a self-optimizing conveyor for businesses that handle many different materials or need to change material frequently. The piFLOW®p changes material size times more quickly than standard vacuum conveyors do.

Other piab vacuum conveying devices available from Firing Industries:

• Tablet (piFLOW®t) – Recommended for food, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical applications requiring premium technology, especially when handling tablets or fragile products. This device also works for tasks that need high throughput performance with a small footprint. The large range helps to transport up to four million tablets per hour.
• Food grade (piFLOW®f) – Popular in applications in which food-grade quality is vital. A common alternative to mechanical conveyors when dust-free conveyance or low maintenance is necessary. Capacity can hit four tons an hour.
• Industrial (piFLOW®i) – A frequent choice for general manufacturing, and occasionally used in chemicals, because of its high throughput and small footprint. Similar capacity as the piFLOW®f.

Spare parts and accessories for these conveyors are also available, as is an upgrade kit for the C conveyor model.
