The FP-40 is the next generation of our popular workhorse the FP-35. North Star has redesigned the transmission of the FP-40 to have better longer lasting bearings. The wetted area has been redesigned to a more easily cleaned slopping design that improves drainage. Featuring a new safety feature in the form of a lid lock in case of air loss. We have also equipped the FP40 with a NEMA4x enclosure to house Yaskawa’s next generation of variable frequency drive the GA500 with safe torque off technology.
